Founded in 1925 by a 21 year old A.C.M. van Amelsvoort, Goliath was built on a keen eye for design, passion for detail and mastery of traditional skills. The son of a shoemaker, van Amelsvoort has established Goliath as a world class manufacturer of sporting shoes by the 1940s. The late 2000's saw the brand re-establish itself at the forefront of the premium sports shoes market and today, the Goliath footwear vision and principles of tradition, quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are still at the beating heart of the brand.
